 Ahmed Shawki Museum 

is a museum located on the Nile Corniche in Giza, Egypt. This museum dedicated in honor of "the Prince of Poets" Egyptian poet Kurdish origin Ahmed Shawki. And who was living in the neighborhood of one of Cairo's rain, near the palace of Khedive Abbas Helmi II in the dome until denied.

 new house in Giza

 After his return to Egypt built a new house in Giza called "Karma Ibn Hani." Giza house that later became "Ahmed Shawki Museum.

Took home building

design extravagant white palace surrounded by a lush garden, the museum was officially opened on 17 June 1977. There in the garden of the museum a large statue of the poet of bronze Egyptian done Bnanh artist beauty Alsgeni. Where was the unveiling of the statue on the fiftieth anniversary of the death of the great poet. For its part, the government ordered the Italian industry in 1962 a statue of the poet Ahmed Shawki to be placed in the gardens of the Villa Borghese a month and Rome's largest parks, as international artists. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the statue then Minister of Culture in Egypt and Italy in addition to the mayor of Rome and a number of Arab artists, poets and writers.
